Well it's all in Vane. My new D60 front has 4.56's in it. Thought it had 4.10's. Oh well. Deeper gearing is always welcome!!!

I'd be wanting at least 4.56's if the plan is to run 38's. I take it you are now on the hunt for a set of 4.56's for your 14B?

No I want the 4.56's so I'm on the hunt for 14bolt 4.56's.

Is there a carrier break in the 14bolt at 4.10.

    And I wasn't concerned about 4.10's and 38's as I have a doubler.

Yes, that is what I was implying in my previous post.

Yes, 4.10 and down and 4.56 and up is the standard carrier break for a 14B. However, for 4.56 and up gears, it is very common to have a thick ring gear to run on the 4.10 and down carrier....I think it is more the norm than the exception in regards to this particular axle.

Meh. That only gets you so far. High range / on road performance suffers....if that is even important to you.

Now that your done shaving the 14b gears, what are you going to do with them? I know somebody that would give them a good home.

Yes, I'm officially done with them. I know your bro wants them. I just don't get out his way much and he doesn't come out my way much. I have the 14B parts and hubs ready whenever a meet can actually occur.

Hood orniments? Bling hub caps? Cut up the ring, weld it to my diff cover so from behind it looks like I don't have a cover on?

I don't know haven't though that far ahead. Why, who wants them?
