Well got it running finally again since august. Nothing excitingly new. Just re-did the front end plumbing and a new rad/shroud to be more reliable and to protect my lower rad hose which hung to low.

But I had to do some poser shots when I took it out.

And as for the cylinders and how they work, I haven't used enough to play with pressures to find a good spring rate. I still think if I find money somewhere I'll switch them to coilovers in a heartbeat just for the simplicity.

    Wow,
I'm glad to see you got her going. With the amount of work you took on I honestly questioned if I'd see her alive again or be a garage ornament

Nice work! Hope to see you on the trails.

5.38s Chris. Ya it could do over 90 but I would want to. Not that it isn't safe (i wouldn't drive it 5km/h if i thought it was unsafe) but it would be so uncomfortable and loud at a long interval.

Btw. You still want my d60 4.56s?

Well fixed a few design flaws tonight. No pics but:
1st: Propane Vapourizor Kept freezing as with reworking the cooling system with a new rad it was impossible to get the air out. I made a surge tank and mounted it as high as possible letting me bleed the air out.
2nd: Shifting Trans. I bought a spare tranny/transfer and took the valve body out of it. Shifts fine, so my installation of my shift kit is too blame.
3rd: The air over hydro cylinders would bleed air from the high pressure side to the low causing the front end to settle to it's bump stops in minutes. I got some soft o-rings and machined a groove into the pistons adding 2 seals per cylinder. No more sag over a 45min time. We'll see how it sits in the morning.
4th: I blew the front driveshaft. I have too much suspension travel and it busted a weld I only half did for length checks. I preheated every part just in case and now that I have an oven in my shop and TIGged the snot out of it with stainless filler!

Now given that I have no headlights I was only able to bomb it around in 4low/low I really didn;t play with it, but the uphill I'm on I'm optimistic.

Down in the dumps and ready for scrap!!!!!

I took it out after a few tweaks and in a drainage ditch the trans gave out as it was underfilled. My dad pulled my out and by the time I got back up to the shop the vapourizour was iced over.

Pulled it apart with nothing wrong, so I started the heep back up without the coolant line to the vapourizour connect and I have no coolant flow. I never get over 180deg with the fan on, but???? So a new pump for me.

Then because the trans was low I cooked the input seal and it blows fluid out the front of the trans...... AGAIN! This is my second seal and with my suspension and cross memeber it is NOT easy to pull a trans and a HEAVY ass doubler.

That is why I'm thinking of starting fresh with something I can remove the body off of!!!!
