    S10 wont heat up

    I swapped a rad into my s10 the core is slightly larger on the rad there was a spot for the heater hose however my hose goes to my intake so I blocked the hose on the rad off my truck runs at about the same temperature however the heat no longer works mornings are cold and it pisses me off haha does anyone have any ideas? I thought thermostat but im not sure

    blower works and it gets kinda warm not really but kinda haha

    JimmyKnux. Change the thermostat first, while you have the coolant out of the engine, flush the heater core. Remove both heater hoses at engine, run water through both heater hoses one at a time and watch the crap come out of the heater core. When the water runs clean from the core, reinstall the heater hoses and you should get more heat.
