    ebrake booty fab

I am having a tough time getting every single peice for my e brake cables on my 85 chevy scottsdale EVERYTHING was off the truck and none of my local parts suppliers have it the snow is on the way and I need to figure something out quick could some one recomend some home brew methods? I have the two rear cables as well as the one off the pedal I am missing the two that run down the side of the truck as well as all the parts that connect the cables together I was thinking steel braided cable for the middle peices just not sure how to connect them together please help! I need to get this truck on the road the poor 4.3 in my s10 is on its last legs

Does this need to pass a safety?

it sure does I was checking out a truck the other day where the guy used steel cable and some smarts and got it to pass a legit safety. If im nuts for even thinking it I will try to get the stock parts for it that just takes time
